Mug, Blue, Etaoin O'Reilly

This vibrant Earthenware mug is part of Dundalk based Etaoin O'Reilly's Geo collection. 

Etaoin works with was inspired by "The Memphis Movement" - a playful, bright, geometric art movement that took the world by storm in the eighties. Her pieces are all hand-thrown on the potter's wheel, then decorated in a geometric bright colourful pattern. 

She hand-painted this cup with a Malibu blue slip, and lime green dots. 

It is 9.5cm height, and including handle it is 14cm width.
