This pair of porcelain mini vases are a great colourful addition to a workspace or table, and are made by Waterford based ceramic artist Adele Stanley. The blue & green colours sit together well and show off Adele's playful approach to colour. The outside of the vases are hand painted with layers of coloured slip and sanded, exposing the quality of the porcelain clay and giving it a really tactile quality. In contrast the inside of the vases are glazed with a clear shiny glaze. 

Adele Stanley is based near Dungarvan in County Waterford. She is inspired by simplicity of form, clean lines and bright colour. She studied ceramics at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin and the Cardiff School of Art and Design in Wales. She makes functional ware and sculptural objects.
