These snug baby booties in a bawneen colour were originally designed and knitted by Nell Moran in Co.Westmeath - hence Nellies! Nell designed these booties using a variety of traditional stitches such as the honeycomb, blackberry, wave and diamond. They are for newborn up to 8 months / 1 year and are very practical because they have soft woollen string to help keep on baby feet and have cosy sheepskin inside
